Reflection on 60
I turn 60 today. In between the well wishes and birthday celebration, and of course CAKE, it is a time of a lot of reflection. I’ve struggled with 60 a bit; physically I certainly can’t do what I could in my 20’s and 30’s, mentally, I fight with the fact that in my head I’m in my 30’s and 40’s ( which makes me very wise in my mind, yet still young enough to be totally in touch with the world) and yet the world might see me as this 60 year old woman, out of touch, still trying to live out my youth. ( maybe not, but sometimes the mind can say mean things to you.)
However, I do think my age affords me the right to know a thing or two about life. So I wrote my 60 life lessons. If you are a reader of this blog, most all my blogs are on business lessons, and of course reflection is always important in any business. And, if I had but one business lesson to share, it would be, “You can. You can do it; don’t let anything or anyone stop you. You can do your dream. Take action.” I think that’s it. You will figure out the rest.
For my 60 life lessons, read them here, enjoy, maybe come up with a few of your own.
