Rejection

Rejection is a part of daily life. Period. It is not always about us, and yet, when it happens, most of us take it personally, as though it was completely within our control to make someone like us or not, want us or not, or at least, want what we are selling or not. That is not always the case though.

We may be selling to the wrong person, communicating the wrong value, confusing the features with benefits, or may just not be the right fit. And as hard as it is to accept, we may not have a good enough product or provide a good enough service. It is important to take a truthful look at our business and determine the real reasons why sales are not translating into the results we want. That might require some hard truths, but the only way to fix something and make it better is to accept the truth and make the necessary changes.
