Temperature

It was a cold and frosty morning in Boulder today but the bikers, runners, hikers, and walkers were out and about in force. I couldn’t help but wonder what made them go through the discomfort of layering up and going out in the cold to get a bit of exercise as I drove past them in my warm and toasty car. They could have made a choice to go to a gym, where I’m sure it was heated and comfortable, but instead they made the decision to get outside and brave the elements.

Regardless of the landscape and temperature, something propelled these outdoor enthusiasts to go through the pain to achieve their personal gain.  As an entrepreneur, we are faced with this every day. There are many times we have to face the ever changing “temperatures” to get to where we want to go. No one said it would be easy. But when we have the end goal in mind, it makes the journey a lot more palatable to take.
