YOU SET YOUR OWN BAR

Failure to live up to what we think others think we should have accomplished by some point keeps many of us from accomplishing what we are capable of. The thing is, we are each on our own journey, and while it can be extremely helpful to have some accountability, your progress should only be measured by you. Only you know what your stumbling blocks are, what is in your control and what isn't in your control. Sometimes "progress" is impeded because our gut is telling us this is the wrong way to go. Sometimes we need more education or information, and yes, sometimes we get in our own way out of fear. If that is what is holding you back, then you need to address the real reason behind your pace. But most of all, stop dancing to someone else's beat. Go your own way and set your own bar.
