As the most celebrated resort, the Ojai Valley Inn offers the most luxurious accommodation in Ojai and features everything from a spa to a golf course, swimming pools and a variety of restaurants.
Ojai Rancho Inn offers an upscale motel experience. Amenities include a pool in the back, a fun bar and a shop selling knickknacks from local makers.
Completely renovated during the pandemic, the Capri Hotel has gorgeous, mid-century themed rooms and luxury amenities like an in-house masseuse and heated pool.
Set right in the heart of downtown Ojai, the Lavender Inn is a charming bed & breakfast, with uniquely decorated rooms and cottages, and magical gardens ideal for relaxing.
Slightly outside Ojai central, The Blue Iguana Inn is an enclave of custom decorated guest rooms, suites and cottages and features lush gardens and a courtyard pool and whirlpool spa.
For something a bit different, try the Caravan Outpost. Tucked away in the east end of town, it features 11 artfully decorated Airstream trailers that have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
AND, of course VRBO and Airbnb are options as well, although many that are located in the city of Ojai have strict 30 day requirements.
Restaurants:
Run by Ojai native Kiona Wachter, this is a super casual affair: you order at the counter, find a table and wait for your name to be called out. The menu is focused on organic, local ingredients and features comfort dishes with a delicious twist. Great cocktails. No reservations.
One of Ojai’s more upscale restaurants, Nocciola serves dishes inspired by Northern Italy, with a short but very well curated selection of antipasti, salads, pasta dishes and secondi/entrées. Reservation recommended.
Easily Ojai’s top Japanese restaurant, Isakaya Full Moon is modeled on a Japanese pub and serves a variety of dishes from sushi and sashimi to kushi (bbq skewers). No reservations.
The Dutchess is a new venture from the people behind the renowned Rustic Canyon family of restaurants in LA. Café and bakery by day, it’s a Burmese-Indian restaurant by night, with innovative and deliciously spicy dishes. Reservation recommended.
With a great atmosphere and fabulous food, this is our favorite Ojai restaurant and where Jan and Kerstin will be dining on 05.11.22. Although the cost of dinner is not included in the retreat price, if you would like to join us, please let us know as soon as possible so we can include you on the reservation. There’s a rawbar with fresh seafood from the Channel Islands and a seasonal menu that showcases the best local produce. The wine list features natural wines from around the world. Reservation required.
