The HOPE Diamond

I saw it!  The HOPE DIAMOND!  In the real and over 45 carats too!  The diamond is blue, and absolutely stunning!   I imagined some really cool story about how the Hope Diamond got its name, but although it definitely has a rich history, the name comes from one of its original owners named Hope. At any rate, it got me to thinking about HOPE and how it applies to business. 

When we first start our business, we are hopeful it will be successful. We believe that what we want can be achieved. We continue to HOPE for the best and that our business will grow. If things aren’t working out, HOPE can be a motivating force for change. So HOPE can be a very good thing to have on your side.  It is one of those things that we really need in the good times and in the tough times.  Those times when we feel like throwing in the towel or are faced with self doubt.  HOPE is magical, kind of like fairy dust and everyone needs to have some HOPE and have something to HOPE for.  As for me, I have plenty of HOPE.  I hope to one day to come back into this life with rock star vocal cords and long skinny legs.  Hey, a girl can hope can’t she?
