When in Palm Springs

I’ve been spending a bit of time in Palm Beach, CA recently and collecting all the fun places to eat and drink! Here’s my list if you want to check them out! You might just find me saddled up to the bar or dining on exquisite cuisine.

Bar Cecil https://barcecil.com is my favorite, (it has a kind of fun Palm Royale atmosphere) but yes, a bit hard to get into. I found the best way is to be first in line as soon as they open and ask to sit in the bar. I’ve only ever sat at the bar, which is fine with me, I order wine and their famous bread and I’m good to go but their menu does look really good and one day maybe I will be organized enough to make reservations in advance!

The Sparrow Lodge and Barn Kitchen https://sparrowslodge.com/the-barn-kitchen/ [ I like to go for lunch, have a cocktail and play scrabble with my daughter] along with their sister property Holiday Househttps://holidayhouseps.com have awesome boutique hotel and restaurants that radiate ambiance and are beautiful. They are must visits in my book, even if you choose to just go for a cocktail.

You can’t go wrong with picking up a coffee right next door at the Arrive hotelhttps://www.arrivehotels.com/palm-springs/food-drink and then enjoying the food the hotel offers near the poolside.

The Parker hotel, https://www.parkerpalmsprings.com AND the ACE hotel, https://acehotel.com/palm-springs (my daughters love their diner) are icons in Palm Springs area and kind of started a new scene when they arrived.

Melvyn’s https://inglesideestate.com/melvyns/ is old school and was a favorite of Frank Sinatra (you know who he is, right?). It also has the most fun piano bar where you can sing and drink and make friends with the guests at the next table. Go there, it’s great entertainment and people watching.

I haven’t been yet, but my friend says it is amazing, so if she says so, then by all means, I will be there next visit. The Paul Bar, https://www.thepaulbarps.com/menus
